   This work is about connecting to my fragmented Chinese heritage. Working through the intersecting layers of queerness, disability, femininity and race - These ritual objects are a reimagining of cultural futures, merging the old and the new, the real and the fantastical, existing as a hybridized manifestation of a confused identity. The series explores self-tokenism and the history of ornamentalism and it's relationship to objects and bodies.
